I’m not a massive fan of Genesis, and as you progress through their back catalogue I like them even less, but there’s something about the “Invisible Touch” album that still appeals to me. I wish I could quote Patrick Bateman’s monologues on Genesis in “American Psycho” in full, but all I can remember about his reference to “Land Of Confusion” is “in this song, Phil Collins addresses the problem of abusive political authority…” as he ties up a prostitute! However, Genesis are pretty naff on the whole, and I’d think long and hard before posting anything purely by them on here. But mashups are cool! Here’s what would happen if Patrick Bateman was to tie Phil Collins and Eminem together with one of his exquisite silk sheets and they were to make babies… Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip.
