Here is last night’s session! I’m still waiting to receive my pre-ordered special edition of the new album so this is all I’ve got to keep me going… but wow! Roll on tomorrow night and the first night of the tour in Glasgow! These are pretty low bitrate files, due to the file size limit on my hosting account, but higher bitrate versions of the show will no doubt be in circulation before too long. Thanks for posting this! I’m sure the folks on PT-Weeds all appreciate it, moderator warning notwithstanding.
Any idea where that live version of Halo came from? It doesn’t sound like Rockpalast or the version on the Arriving Somewhere DVD.
Halo is from the same session, recorded in the last few weeks I think. My guess is that is the version they’ll be playing if it’s on the set list for the coming tour – which is fine by me as I think it kicks ass. I’ll let you know in about 36 hours!!!
Also a big fan of PT and Jellyfish. My interest in PT comes from the powerpop, harmonies, dynamics that you get with good powerepop and less self indulgent prog. Do you have the Jellyfish DVD’s – happy to swap????
I just happened to come across this in a random search. This is golden! Thankyou for posting this up! I (and I’m sure many others) am ever grateful to you for helping to fuel my continuing Porcupine Tree/Steven Wilson addiction.
