I had to post this – the “then and now” photo was just too good to ignore! What on earth is he wearing, and in the picture on the right why is he headbutting a hole-y spoon?

This track is off Howard’s “Perform ‘01″ album – live updated versions of his 80s hits. There are some great songs on that CD, and this one highlights his songwriting ability to the full. Digging out the original versions is also a very worthwhile exercise… they’ve stood the test of time remarkably well when you compare them to a lot of pop records from that era.

I love this song, and I love this version.
