This is from a little-known album by the duo who most famously collaborated on “She”, which was part of the Notting Hill soundtrack. Crap film apart from the daft Welsh prick that Shug Grant shares a flat with, but a great song. Elvis and Burt had released the “Painted From Memory” album a year or two before the film came out, and it was one of my listening post discoveries. The whole album is of a consistently high standard, but this track stands out for me. Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip.
